Road for Redemption
The sister’s starlight sharing continues. Kess’ claims about a pardon raise the question of what deeds she’d done. Kess confesses that years before, she and others objected to Kiriad’s deeming defense as the tiger’s domain. Scyde did not side with Kess, and Kiriad condemned her as a traitor. Some of the warriors went their ways. For Kess, branding as a traitor means that if trouble finds you…
But Kilani’s trial tugged on her heartstrings. Plus, events before that play a part as well.
Kess concludes that she was the transgressor and not the star she had supposed. The road towards renewal is rocky.
But first, Riah rummages through the bush, blurting, “Where’s Shie?”
With atonement on the mind, can Kess climb the obstacles in her way and earn emancipation? Or is this old scar simply too deep to suppress?
Shie sure has been gone a while. Hope she’s not in another realm tied to an office chair with an extension cord!
No, impossible. Shie cannot possibly be there. Can she?
Wait so at this point, other than political stability, this war is just going on through inertia?
Not even Her Majesty Queen Oscura knows the cause!
I feel sorry for riah And chiara who lost both of there mothers in the war all because of not forgiving one another man those races should both grow and wise up come to there commonsenses
Maybe they can follow Kess and Kilani’s example!
