no it is a like a leaf pile cushion for cree and tyree poor cubs in the coldness of the tent it Kind of makes me jealouse of the dragon society have all those privilages I am happy the male elders left the imperial city I think the others should too I think it is going to have the writing on the royal wall one day.

Remember This Tune.

In a secluded space, a quartet of Tigers take a rest. Xiu brings up the topic of rabbit and rats. She catechizes Kanti about a refrain revolving around rabbits and rats. Kanti claims that everyone knows about that song and starts belting out the ballad before being blocked. Xiu harkens back saying she’d heard a bard do a ditty about creatures who were sans scales or stripes, but walked and talked like they could and points out Kess and her “big cat pal” encountering them. Kanti calls back to cubhood with a carol she’s heard. It was about a wingless, fanged wonder that rattled rapidly. Kanti asks if this is what Xiu is speaking of.

Affirmation is the answer as Xiu states that sounds like a snake. But ends with an apathetic “And we all know snakes don’t talk.”

Folktales, old tunes and timelost fictions hints at contact between two consortiums of creatures inhabiting contradicting cosmoses.

Do these flickering fables mean that figures only found in fantasy are about to find each other again? Or is the starting step to something sudden and shattering?

(P.S. i had typed another comment earlier Monday morning, but when I pressed “comment” I got an error and the whole thing was lost. )
