Preparing to send out holiday presents for the Draconia Lane residents and instead Shaleigh finds one present tied up in front of her.
Shaleigh’s pals wrapped up Shie nicely. She even comes with an office chair!
While I wouldn’t put it past Shaleigh to COINCIDENTALLY be prepping another sign of favor for the faculty – ranch dressing is a hard act to follow! – did Coneen’s two-hand gesture mean she just DROPPED whatever box they were holding?
Also, Shie being restrained like that… she was FRIENDLY when last we saw this group, and we can’t actually SEE if she’s restrained or not, so she may be playing along with the others… even if she doesnt understand why. That said, I hope the big cat comes away from this in good shape – maybe even with a minor favor or two from these ‘more advanced’ otherworlders!
When we last saw Shie a few pages back, she was calmly answering Zmia’s litany of questions, but it looks like they didn’t want to take any chances. As for the gift boxes, maybe Cree and Tyree won’t notice a ding or two in the packaging for their stilts. ^__^
Awwe! So we now know WHAT they were carrying, but if this scene happens BEFORE the stilts get delivered, that means we know Shaleigh must still be free to do her Sandy Claus activities afterward… because otherwise it’d paradox away the twins’ gift? Time shenanigans keeping a fox ‘safe’ for now…
It’s a trap! Also there is no way those ropes are actually restraining her at all.
You mean the extension cord? XD
To Catch a Tiger.
Shie sits secured as a trio of concerned and cloaked companions clash over her captivity. Being part of a privy project by Shaleigh doesn’t sit well with either the appalled Arnet or the zealous Zmia. But as the taller of the trio, Dean Farassi, digresses, she can deeply understand Zmia’s disappointment at her project’s disapproval despite her dropping in her vote for its design, she was unfortunately outnumbered. The best thing to do is sit idle and see what Shaleigh has to say. And Speak of the Devil, the frustrating fox herself steps in carrying a container with help from Coneen. The moment Coneen comments of the captive Shaleigh’s head snaps around in shock as her secret has been spilled
With Shaleigh’s underhandedness unearthed what will she do? Will she vouch for vindication or bow to her brethren’s bemusement?
Let’s hope Shaleigh knows to stay on a big cat’s good side!
An extension cord and office chair are generally considered insufficient restraint for a tiger, especially with her hands like that. While she wouldn’t know where she’d pop out Shie could also just flip her head back so the hood falls off. That must be a serious fear of rattlesnakes to get her to go along with this.
Interesting that Dean Farassi and company haven’t already just pulled Shie’s hood down.
I appreciate that instead of rope tying up Shie it’s a power cord, because of course you wouldn’t typically own a rope, but many power cords.
Good eye! Yeah, at my place, I have zero rope but a drawer full of extra extension cords. That’s what I’d have to work with if I needed to tie someone up! ^__^
(Too quickly) “Nooo?”
At least Coneen tried to act surprised. ^__^
