Tears for Fears.

Zmia’s presentation zonked out and now she has to move out. Ouch. Arnet, tries to dry the sobbing snake’s tears and offering consolation that Shaleigh will have to shuffle off too. But Coneen crushes this by announcing the vixen’s veneration. Now Zmia, cries along with the skies as she fears for her future. Coneen however is concentrating on other matters and moves the pair to join her. They’ve got business to burn. Is Shaleigh’s scheme really going to succeed and what is Coneen conniving? Are they going to subvert Shaleigh or are they planning to pull another prank on their conniving colleague?

Oof x.x I still wish Zmia didn’t have to take a fall like this just for sake of building up the narrative tension before Shaleigh’s presentation – poor snake girl! Hopefully Arnet is right and there’s other options to help salvage the situation so Zmia doesn’t face deportation.

Given the way she’s crying about it, it really makes me wonder “how bad” deportation is in this case. If just leaving a country, are the other places she’d go terrible? Or are we talking deportation from the realm itself, given that dimension hopping appears to be normal here – in which case again, how bad of a fate does that mean for her??

Well, Vice Chancellor Vothy did mention that the budget was tight, so much so that they can’t afford better seating. That meant that some projects would inevitably have to be cut. As for Zmia’s deportation, maybe we’ll learn more about her background one of these days. Stay tuned…
