And the Species list keeps on a growin’, I see someone with wings. (Other than Dragon). So I take it all these Species exist in the main Story realm, and this realm we’re currently seeing is actively engaged in Dimensional travel?
If so, they’re hiding really well since we’ve only seen Dragons and Tigers in the Obsidian Realm (main story) so far. Maybe this is where they all hang out instead?
So.. outsiders are part of the problem then? Also that’s a really grumpy bunny now that her scaly friend has lost her job.
Given her history with Shaleigh, Zmia’s dismissal might not be the only thing weighing on Coneen.
At least one councilor has their eye on a prize bigger than tasty snacks: literal immortality via artifact stopping aging/time
Though if I understand the whole ‘outsiders vs natives’ argument, couldn’t they bring the obsidian egg HERE to where they are the ‘natives’ and benefit from it? Or is everyone here ‘outsiders’?
Interesting idea, though they’ve got to test it out first. Sounds like Render’s a lab rat!
Can we Turn Back Time?
Shaleigh starts with a Q&A and immediately gets a hand. This Chancellor Vothy asks a question but seems more intent on the dressing than addressing their concerns. Besides the sore sitting setting. Vothy is intrigued by the insinuation that The Obsidian Egg’s effect on the chronological course is affected by it’s location. But what is the main focus of all this? I’m hoping all of this fooling with the flow of time will cause them to fall back and fall flat.
I’m sure a lot of people have some regrettable moment in their lives they wish they could go back and redo.
Imminent Crisis on Infinite Realms, much?
Boy, does this remind me of a particular lyric from the Coldplay song ‘Violet Hill’ (which I personally regard as a theme song for Xhianil and to a certain extent Tam’syn)…
So this is a carnival of idiots?
Well that, and also that a certain fox wants to play God here. Which is chilling.
Twelve seats, only two of which have spoken, while there are only hints at two others’ species. There was a theory circulating that this realm’s races are based from Chinese Zodiac.
Rabbit, Fox, Rat, Snake, Bull (or general Bovine, providing she is female) for Vothy, some form of Simian for Kurdon, and what appears to be an Avian of some regard filling the ‘Rooster’ role.
Gives us seven of twelve. If this theory does prove true, it means that in addition to the other missing three, there are Tigers and Dragons here as well, even if another set of wings is absent from the row.
Which has me curious as to who they are. Now be aware, my attempt at insight may turn into ramblings of a madman, so milage may vary.
Are the missing tiger and dragon seats characters we possibly knew in the other realms, but due to their counterparts’ demise in Obsidian render them ‘disappeared’ from this realm as well?
Could be a possible reason to get the Egg that early chapter one battle on the mountain was over, to undo its events, and bring back their fellow seats, provided they were among the four that met their end during.
Or, could they still be these recognizable characters, just absent from the meeting; off on business elsewhere, personal or otherwise?
These could be their “Prime” or “Original” selves that are immune to whatever force eliminates them from the Realms if one copy meets an untimely end.
All interesting hypotheses and observations, especially about the twelve seats and the conspicuously-missing Dragon wings. Stay tuned!
