Here comes the cavalry! Kess has some ‘splainin’ to do, she better think fast. Good luck, Xhianil!
Xhianil might have the more immediate concern of remaining alive!
Please don’t let history repeat itself! I really want to see this new group like show the cracks of how done they are with this war. And actually unite to some common ground of leaving each other alone without sticking a knife at eachothers throats
It’s got to start somewhere, right?
The side by side view in that second panel is interesting, in that it really showcases the near-identical stance and legs of tigers and dragons side-by-side, both mirrored and comparing two tigers standing in a row. Feels like a funny sort of message to say “we’re similar from the waist down” (tails aside), but there you go!
As for the rest… Xhianil has to be feeling like this is still some kind of a fever dream, but she’s rolling with it. And Kilani… does the comparative hope of this moment override her self-destructive feelings, or does she still think that even with this in front of her, she still has to die??
This could give her new inspiration!
The Deal is made, and Danger lurks.
Xhianil’s explanation reveals her motive for her aggravation at Kess. Kess tells her hardened belief that Dragons and Tigers would be life-long enemies. The two agree to put aside their aggression. As they shake on it a voice screams at them to separate.
Will their peace be left in pieces or is it the beginning of the end for this long and violent war? Will Shaleigh have a chance to say something in support of the two new friends?
Well, Shaleigh is still packing a crowbar under that cloak, so…
great so much for standing ground well let the battle begin
Impeccable timing!
You tease me with a half resolution! I’m gonna flip the cow, so help me!
Most people just tip cows. You flip them? Put that on TikTok and you’ll be a sensation!
The road to peace is full of potholes and falling trees trying to crush you.
And there’s trees aplenty here!
Don’t let her go. The second she does, Riah would try to attack someone again.
