Everyone mentioning the Methane gasses were actually right all along. An entire city’s sewer system igniting…oh. I wonder what ground zero looks like.
Probably a lot of scorched asses!
It would look more like bombs going off under the ground and throwing everything up in the air, leaving craters behind. Just like explosions in confined spaces do. As you can see easily in videos of idiots throwing their smokes down sewers to be thrown into the air. Wee confined jets are not just what happens. Pipes are designed to keep the outside from collapsing inward, not to contain explosions. There’d be craters and raining debris. Especially from explosions reaching multiple times higher than every building in the city.
Wow blue is leaving along with fiera and mizu her daughters everyone is shocked wow
When fireballs shoot up from the city, it’s bound to get your attention! ^__^
CACKLED at Ennek, look at her in the bg! XDDD She knows, she KNOWS!!
She doesn’t know how she knows, but she just knows.
I sure hope no one was using the crapper at that time.
Meta wasn’t, but there’s a lot of other commodes throughout the Imperial City. It’s the middle of the night, though, so hopefully not too many!
Huh, wonder what that light on the mountain is in panel 4.
Care to take a guess?
My money’s on this dimension’s Render.
Can I ask you a question?
Insert Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture OP. 96 here..
The role of the cannon will be performed by the Imperial City sewer system. ^__^
Oh… no. That is going take a lot work to fix.
Better hope there’s a plumber on call somewhere!
…… Oh. Okay. So, the city’s about to become a lava field, and the dragons who manage to evacuate are going to have to beg the tigers for help. That’s ONE way to end a war.
You think they’d help?
Oh hey, I was just joking about smash-cutting to the city and columns of flame…!
LOL! I’d already had that planned and I had to bite my tongue not to spoil it!
That’s one way to clean up the entire sewer system at once, but I don’t think it follows safety guidelines.
It’s efficient, though!
Well, Meta was asking for a sign. Was that it?
The goddess works in mysterious ways!
Looks like the earth dragons are going to be picking up a lot of overtime fixing busted sewer pipes all over town! I wonder how deep the doo-doo is for the fire dragons after this fiasco?
Only if they can’t figure out a way to blame the Tigers for it!
