As I announced last week, I’m suspending the main story for the next three weeks to bring you this year’s Draconia Chronicles Holiday Special! Fiera and her sister Mizu are up to something, and this year, they’ve got accomplices in the form of Princess Lumina, and twin Tiger sisters Cree and Tyree. Will they succeed in capturing the elusive Sandy Claws? Stay tuned…

I figured I’d let Tyree lean on the fourth wall a bit. Over the last two years, I’ve tried to reconfigure the characters’ faces and heads to (1) lower their mouths, as they were too close to their noses, and (2) to reconcile their profile appearance with their three-quarter appearance. Constant refinement. I’m curious to see how they’ll all look in two more years. ^__^
One thing with the dragons that I think makes them look unnatural is the square shaping on their chests simply making this a more organic shape would look more natural

I am reminded excessively of Nightmare Before Christmas. In a good way, it is the best Christmas movie ever. But the point is Cree is adorable and I can’t wait to see more.
I love working with this cast, and I’ve been looking forward to the Holiday Special all year to get the young ‘uns back together. Cree is pretty adorable. ^__^

It’s the projection on the screen behind her. I wanted to create the effect that it’s projecting onto her face and arm. Didn’t quite hit the mark. v__v;;

so nice to see a christmas themed comic here that has tigress’ and dragoness’ being friends. the whole “capturing sandy claws” thing worries me a little bit, but kids, right

I might be in a slight state of shock. Iv’e gotten so used to the violence, sex, and war psychology in this comic that this page really threw me off. I mean, the shock of this page really amplified the cuteness… and I love it! This is going to be a great filler, I can already tell.

You know i actually have to wonder alot of the time if these christmas joke comics are actually supposed to be showing (minorly) what Shaleigh’s personality may actualy be like
Because personally from what i’ve seen in the canon comics makes me think she and the rest of the foxes may actually be completely manipulating both sides in the war to eventually defeat them both in one strike (heck the foxes probably already have the obsidian egg and Zhirite claw) and at this point i’m wondering if the foxes actually started the entire war themselves
I may be either completely wrong or have predicted almost the entire story ahead here (doubtful and even were i right then it probably has many more plot twists) but so far the foxes seem to be immensly hinted at having a plan something like this

Well from what I remember, Shaleigh hid the tiger queen away while the volcano erupted and her peopel desperately needed her. She also gave the dragon queen the information back when, which led to that tiger vs dragon battle where Gaia killed. (I think, I can’t remember, but I know she gave the dragon queen advice which led to dragon vs tiger action.)
That because Shaleigh wants them both alive so she can use them for her insidious plans.
Which reminds me, Kilani said she ‘found’ the egg. The queen claims she stole it. I imagine a certain fox is responsible for this.
Or does the egg ACTUALLY exist at ALL? (€ಠ‸⊙ )

Yeah, my fault for not specifying, but it makes sense to me. As long as memory serves, Kilani said she found the dragon egg. I doubt any dragons had a hand in stealing the princess’ egg.

The dragon’s equivalent of the zhirite claw, supposedly a weapon that could defeat the tigers. It probably doesn’t exist.

There are males, just “feral.” Male tigers are easily seen in previous pages, and there is a male dragon seen in Gaia’s story, during her flashback(the pages before 100, if I remember right).
